Dashboard
The panel's home screen: what each card shows, where every number comes from, when it refreshes, and where to find what is not here.
This is the first screen you see when you sign in. It shows the size of your operation and the devices that reported most recently.
It is worth knowing up front what it is and what it is not: it is an inventory summary, not an operations board. It does not show alerts, tickets, pending patches or threats. Those live on each module's own screen, and in the sidebar counters.
Who sees it
Everyone. It requires no permission and does not change by role: a technician sees exactly what the organization owner sees.
Each organization sees only its own numbers.
What it shows
The greeting
Your name, your organization's name and your plan. If you are on a trial, a chip shows the days you have left.
Four cards
| Card | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Customers | Your registered customers |
| Managed devices | Your devices, with your plan's cap beside it and a usage bar |
| Status | How many devices are online and how many offline |
| AI credits | Your account balance |
None of the four is clickable. To go to Customers or Devices, use the sidebar.
Recent devices
The last five devices that reported, with their customer, operating system, status and last seen time. The rows are clickable: they open the device record, and the customer name opens the customer record.
It is the only part of the screen you can navigate from.
Where the numbers come from
Two clarifications that prevent confusion when comparing figures across screens.
The Customers counter includes inactive ones. A customer you set to Inactive still counts here. Deleted customers do not.
The Managed devices counter may not match your plan's real usage. The card counts all your devices; your subscription's cap counts only active ones. If support deactivated an endpoint, the card still counts it even though it frees up cap.
Deleted devices do not appear in any counter.
When it refreshes
On page reload, and never before. There is no automatic refresh on this screen.
A dashboard left open in a tab since yesterday shows yesterday's numbers. If you are following something live, the Devices screen does refresh on its own every 10 seconds.
A device flipping to Offline is detected by a process that runs every minute, with a 70-second threshold. Worst case, a device that powers off can take a little over two minutes to show as offline, plus however long you take to reload.
The sidebar counters do recalculate on every page: monitoring alerts, expiring certificates and threats. Those are the only live numbers on the home screen, and they are where you find out something is broken.
What is not here
This list matters more than the previous one, because it is what people look for on the dashboard and do not find:
| What you are looking for | Where it is |
|---|---|
| Open monitoring alerts | Monitoring panel |
| Open or overdue tickets | Ticket list |
| Open problems | Problems |
| Fleet-wide pending patches | Patches |
| Active threats | Antivirus |
| Expiring certificates | Certificates |
| Security posture | Security posture |
| Recent remote sessions | Remote sessions |
| Hour bank per customer | Customer record, and Reports |
| Technician usage on your plan | Subscription |
| The full device list, with filters | Devices |
With a brand new account
A new organization sees everything at zero, the trial chip with its days, and under Recent devices:
You don't have any managed devices yet. Once you add customers and devices, they will show up here.
There is no tutorial and no first-steps wizard. The path is: create a customer, build the installer from their record, and install it on a device. The Getting started, Customers and Installing the Windows agent guides cover that path.
What it does not do today
- It does not refresh on its own. Everything updates on reload.
- There are no charts. The only visual element with data is the device usage bar.
- The cards are not clickable.
- It does not show alerts, tickets, patches or threats.
- It is not configurable: cards cannot be added, removed or reordered.
- There is no first-login tutorial.
Frequently asked questions
Why does the dashboard not show my alerts? It is not an operations board. Alerts live on the monitoring panel, and their count is in the sidebar counter.
The numbers do not change while I watch the screen. That is expected: they update on reload. The Devices screen does refresh on its own.
The Devices card does not match my plan usage. The card counts all your devices; the cap counts only active ones. Check Subscription for the real number.
I set a customer to Inactive and it still counts. Yes. The Customers counter includes inactive ones. Only deleted customers stop counting.
I powered a device off and it is still green. The flip to offline takes a little over two minutes, and you also have to reload.
Can I customize the cards? No. The dashboard is fixed.
Can I click the Customers card to open the list? No. Use the sidebar. The only clickable things are the Recent devices rows.
I just signed up, where do I start? Create a customer, build the installer from their record and install it on a device. It is covered in Getting started.
What are AI credits? The balance associated with your subscription, shown alongside your plan's monthly allowance.
Is the dashboard different for a technician? No. Everyone sees the same thing.
