One platform, one vendor
KairosLink's remote control, agent and relay server are built in house. There are no third party licenses to purchase separately, and no integrations that depend on another company's terms. When something breaks, the vendor that fixes it is the same one that sold it to you.
The modules available change with each plan, but they all come from the same platform. You will never need to add another vendor to complete a feature.
Where Atera is the better choice
Atera's per technician pricing, with unlimited devices per technician, is its concrete strength: if your MSP has few technicians managing a very large number of devices, it can work out cheaper than any per device model. Atera also publishes its pricing, so you can run the numbers before talking to anyone. In that scenario, Atera is the better choice.
When KairosLink is the better fit
KairosLink is the better fit if you work in Spanish, if Atera's English only interface is a friction point for your team, or if you prefer a cost that tracks the actual number of managed devices: published pricing from USD 36/month, RMM and ITSM with AI in the same console, no long term contract, and a 14 day trial with no credit card.
